Northrop B-2 Spirit This plane is an Air Force aircraft. The Spirit is more commonly known as the stealth bomber. It has many aspects that make it stealthy. One, is that it is covered with a paint with iron balls. The shape is another factor. The "flying wing" desigh is the one that makes it stealthy. The fact that it dosen't have any rudders or stabalizers make it very hard to detect on Radar. The way most people think of it is wrong. Even the fith generation F-22 is still visible on radar. But, it shows up as the size of a bee, and radar dosen't put that on the screen. To go side-to-side, it uses a very complacated system that even I don't understand. The engines are on top of the fuselage, making it so that the plane has an easier time out smarting sidewinders (heat-seaking-missles). Plus, the engine exaust is cooled before it comes out of the plane, so that it is not detected. To make things even better, it has an amazing system to make the engines really quiet.
