Rockwell B-1 Bomber This plane is an Air Force aircraft. It plays the role of strategic bombing. In fact, it is the backbone of the bombers in the U.S.A. That means that can carry the most bombs out of any USAF aircraft. There are three bombing bays in this plane. Front, middle, and aft (back). The front and the middle are toutching each other, and have a bulkhead (thin moving wall) to store extra big bombs. The aft bay is a little farther back, there is a large space in the middle of the bays. This is a swing-wing bomber. That means that it can fold back it's wings, and by doing that it can go supersonic. The B-1 also has an amazing feature: there is a rumor- unconformed by the goverment- that the B-1 can do a barrel roll. Not many bombers can do that. I don't know of any other bombers that can do that.
