Bell/Boeing V-22 Osprey This plane is a Air Force/Navy/Marine aircraft. The Osprey was created because helicopters couldn't very as fast because all of the force was put into lifting the aircraft up. The Osprey can put force into going foreward, because of the wing. As you can see in the picture above, the V-22 can fold it's wings and large propellers (called Proprotors) for storage. There have been many versions of the Osprey over the years, and the newest one is pretty advanced. It had been used for many reasons, and it can even operate in the night. The Osprey is one of the few STOL aircraft used by the airforce.
